Can I See What the Experience is Like?

When do I pay for the service?

The event is paid to the Chef once he is finished with the event via Zelle or Cash.

How much does your service cost?

Our service has a base price of $59.95 per person with a $600 minimum spend

+ Tax (10.25%)

+ Tip (18% – 25%)

Are These Parties Kid Friendly?

Yes, 100% Our parties are fun for the whole family! 

Our chefs are very talented and can tailor the experience to be even more kid and family-friendly. 

Just let the reservations manager know after booking. 

Can I Have More Details on Kid’s Prices?

The Kid’s price is $29.95 for ages between 5-12 years old.

13 and older is the adult price.

Age 4 and under eat FREE! They get 1 protein and about 1/4 cup of rice.

Should I put in a deposit for a booking?

We do not charge a deposit when booking an event.

Can I cancel the reservation?

Please contact us via email at least 3 days before your event if you would like to cancel the reservation.

What time will the chef arrive?

The chef will try to arrive approximately 15-30 minutes prior to the reservation time. Our set-up process is usually very easy and only takes a few minutes.

Do you charge a travel fee?

A travel fee of $2.5 per mile will be charged over 25 miles from the chef’s location (City of Alhambra)

The first 25 miles are free, and over 25 miles is $2.5/mile.

For example, if the distance between a customer and the chef is 30 miles, the customer will be billed (30-25) x $2.5=$12.5 travel fee.

What is the minimum number of participants for each party?

No minimum of guests, but the starting cost to schedule an event is $600

What is the maximum number of participants per event?

We can serve hundreds of participants at a time. However, if a booking has a large number of participants, we may have multiple chefs at your event.

What is on the Menu?

Each guest gets:

Adults Choose 2 Proteins

Kids Choose 1 Protein

Chicken, NY Strip Steak, Shrimp, Calamari, Salmon, or Tofu (Vegetarian Options Too)

Additional +$5 per person for Filet Minion or Scallops, and an additional $15 per person for Lobster Tail

Jumbo Shrimp Appetizer ( will be cooked and served together with shrimp dinner at last )

Hibachi Noodles

Chicken Fried Rice

Fresh Cooked Vegetables

Fresh Salad

Signature Sauce

Do you provide and set up tables, chairs, and flatware?

We can provide and set up tables, chairs, and flatware at an additional charge of $17 per person.

What if I have allergies to a specific food?

Please contact us via email to let us know about your allergies

I am allergic to peanuts and sesame. Do you have peanuts and sesame in the hibachi meals?

We do not have peanut and sesame in our hibachi meals

What are the options for guests who are allergic to seafood and shellfish or are gluten-free?

If you have any food allergies like dairy, seafood, shellfish, mushrooms, etc., or have a preference for ingredients like low sodium, or gluten-free, please let us know in advance. Our professional hibachi chefs can cook the meals according to your special requests.

Do you have choices for vegetarians?

We have tofu and a vegetable mix of zucchini, broccoli, onion, and carrots served with salad. We also have vegetarian fried rice, yum yum sauce, and teriyaki sauce.

Do I need to prepare anything for the event?

Please set up tables, chairs, and utensils and prepare drinks like water for your guests. We will take care of the rest.

I have booked successfully, when should I send the list of protein choices?

Please email us the list of your protein choices to us at least 4 days before your event. However, if you do not know your guests’ preferences until the last day then please send us the list as soon as you can.

What if someone does not eat meat?

We can provide tofu to meet Vegetarian and Vegan needs. The price per person does not change. We will supplement their dishes with additional extras on cooked veggies etc. 

Do I Need to Tip the Chef?

Gratuity goes directly to the chef and is greatly appreciated!

Most of our guests tip at a minimum similar to eating at restaurants 18% – 25%

How Do I Setup Tables & Chairs?

We recommend it is set up so that the chef is upfront of the party where everyone can see them.

Two 8′ rectangular tables arranged in L shape, and can seat about 10 people. Three 6′ rectangular arranged in U shape and, can sit between 12 and 15 people.

What Should I Prepare for My Party?

You should arrange for a clear area for our grill: 68.3″ L x 27.5″ W x 41.3″ H and setup your tables, chairs, silverware, large plates, salad plates, drink cups and any beverages you want to drink besides sake (which we bring plenty of!)

What can I expect after Booking?

After you reserve your time online you will:

They will reach out to you at least a week before your party date to finalize all details, including menu and price but you can also contact them directly anytime before that. 

Receive a confirmation email with your local reservations manager’s contact info.

Do you cook inside homes homes?

We only cook on outside premises. Our experience is open to terraces, balconies, and under awnings. At this time we do not cook in any indoor premises.

Can you accommodate Gluten Free?

Yes, we have serviced many gluten-free customers. We ask that you bring your favourite gluten-free soy sauce and teriyaki sauce for the chef to cook your portion separately! 

How do I make a list of protein choices?

You can change protein combinations according to your needs one day before your event. However, if you book 4-5 hours before your event starts, then you can change protein selections before the chef leaves for your locations.
